We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I LOVE the composition of this. Max's magical eyepatch is my favourite part of his design, and I love how it is the focal point of this icon. Also: you rendered the texture of his elflocks perfectly! I always struggle with them but ahhhh this is exactly how they are supposed to look.
I am so super glad you did more than one icon, because I was struggling to pick just ONE of your characters to draw, and now I don't have to limit myself!

Max's eyepatch is just the greatest. I don't know how to italicize on here but trust me that deserves some italics. The greatest.
